Jean-Luc Pous born January 26, 1952 in Oran, Algeria, passed away peacefully in his Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA home on February 1, 2026.

Jean-Luc joined Schlumberger Wireline in 1979, remaining for over 30 years, including 2 years as a contractor after he left in 2008. He is recalled by many as an inspirational leader whose reputation preceded him everywhere and left a lasting & positive impression. He spent much of his field career in the Middle East, becoming Division Manager for East Mediterranean, before moving to Manufacturing VP then Director of Product Delivery for Oilfield Services.

His friends and all who loved him are welcome for visitation on Thursday, February 5 at Berardinelli Funeral Home between 4 and 8pm, and at his home, 33 Pacheco Meadow Lane, Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Mass will be held on Monday, February 9 at 2pm at Berardinelli Funeral Home by Father Allam.

Jean-Luc has lived his life passionately, to the fullest, and there is so much to say … This is why we will honor Jean-Luc with his friends, flying family and beyond at Atlantic Aviation, Santa Fe Regional Airport on Friday, February 13 at 4:30pm.

Jean-Luc is survived by his wife Roseline, his sister Geneviève, his daughter Kristel, his two sons Mathew and Frederic, their partners, his grand-children Camille, Joshua, Hugo and Deva, and his nephews Kevin and Lucas.
