A note from Roberto Monti:
“I worked for Jean Louis for a few months from the end of 1968 to mid 1969. Excellent manager and a very caring human being. As his Technical Manager in the North Division of South America reporting to him, I was sent to Nicaragua to repair equipment at a wellsite, offshore in a rig working for Shell immediately after my oldest son Christian was born in Caracas, Venezuela on December 7, 1968. Two days after I was flying to Nicaragua. My wife has excellent souvenir of Jean Louis that together with his wife Andreína took care of her and the new born until I was “released” by Shell two days before new year’s eve.”
