Christian Bezier passed away in France on 7 April 2024

“Notre très cher ami Christian Bezier (Cricri) que j’ai rencontré vers 1980 au manufacturing de Saint Etienne, était apprécié de tous pour sa gaieté, sa bonne humeur et ses grandes connaissances scientifiques. J’ai eu la chance d’entretenir avec lui une fidèle amitié. il nous a quitté ce week end. Conscient jusque dans les derniers jours, Il a assumé avec une force et un courage exemplaire les effets dévastateurs d’une tumeur au cerveau inopérable qui le paralysait et le privait de la parole. C’est une très grande perte pour tous mais il a eu la grande chance de pouvoir rester chez lui jusqu’a la fin, entouré par sa grande et belle famille et visité par ses amis.”

“Our very dear friend Christian Bezier (Cricri) whom I met around 1980 at the manufacturing plant in Saint Etienne, was appreciated by everyone for his cheerfulness, his good humor and his great scientific knowledge. I was fortunate to maintain a faithful friendship with him. he left us this weekend. Aware until his last days, he took on with exemplary strength and courage the devastating effects of an inoperable brain tumor which paralyzed him and deprived him of speech. It is a great loss for everyone but he was very lucky to be able to stay at home until the end, surrounded by his large and beautiful family and visited by his friends.”
