Gérard Cuvillier died on 26th June as the result of a car accident whilst driving alone on the outskirts of Paris.

Gérard had spent 20 years with Total before joining IPM (Integrated Project Management) at its inception in 1995, and spent a further twenty years there.

An outstanding intelligent mind with a great depth of knowledge for all manner of drilling scenarios and in particular deep water operations. He was part of the original IPM team that developed the well construction standards that became the backbone of that segment.

He is survived by his wife Prita.

Advised by Bill Morrice who sends his deepest condolences to Prita at this terrible time.
