Jean-Pierre Franger passed away on November 21st 2019, peacefully in Perth, Australia. My best sympathy goes to his two sons, Milan and Pavel.

I have met Jean-Pierre in Kalimantan, and we have kept in touch since then, although in the last years the communication was stopped, due to JP illness. A very good man, very humoristic. Best sympathy to his family.

I have the pleasure of working with JP in the field several time, and I have learnt many things from him on tools preparation, proper job planning and many things that are not written in the manuals. Truly dedicated to Schlumberger.

I had the pleasure of working with JP in Indonesia and spent many hours discussing the world with him.
I don’t know if many knew but JP had a truly amazing sense of humor! A very funny man! That’s how I’ll remember him.
He will be missed!
