“We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2022, at the age of 72, Norman Charles Chesnut of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away” – a message received from his family.

Norman worked almost 4 decades for Dowel Schlumberger Well Services both in the US and internationally.

Charles Ingold noted “We were stunned by the passing away of Norman Chesnut.  He had been a Greco-Roman wrestling champion in his youth and he seemed to be very healthy. Many of us worked with him in Peru. He was a gentleman and there was nothing he knew he would not teach you.

He was knowledgeable about many services and even worked as a trainer in UTC. He spoke fluently French without any accent. We all miss him.”
