Rodolfo Beylis advised that Julio Vieiro died around the 10th August after a long illness, at home in Buenos Aires, Argentina, under the care of his wife Susana.

For the last few months he was in a very bad condition and had no contacts except with his close family.

Julio joined Schlumberger Wireline in 1966, working until 1979, when he changed to local oil producer companies where he had a remarkable career.
He had a very acute sense of humour and was really very appreciated by all his friends.
