Curtis Jones passed away on Wednesday 1st March. I was told he was on a motorcycle trip in Mexico and started running a fever. When he got back to Houston he went to the hospital. He had a couple of strokes and some brain swelling and never recovered. Very sad. (received from Mo Cordes)
Curtis started his 37 year “Big Blue” career with Johnson Testers, later Flopetrol, in Texas in 1979, where he spent most of his working life, apart from 2001-2007 in London, Paris and Russia. Final line management position was running the offshore business (OFS) for the East Coast of Canada, Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico. His personal passions including lots of Adventure and Off-road motorcycling (US & Mexico) and dispersed off-grid camping.
