  May I humbly suggest “Walking” as a hobby? It is not quite Jogging and not Hiking. I walk many miles or kilometers a year with friends or alone wherever I may be: mostly in Europe or the US. It is an agreeable “sport”, keeps me fit and alert and it rivals only golf in being able to have a discussion with on or more colleagues during the exercise.
