A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at 11am, at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery in Houston. The service will also be live streamed at this link.
Fred Juon passed away today, 12th February 2021, in Houston, following a short illness.
Many of us will have fond memories of Fred following his 40 years in Schlumberger, starting in 1958 in Venezuela, and working much of career in Latin America ultimately as Wireline SAM Unit VP, before moving to Houston as NAM President and later VP for Industrial Affairs. We were most privileged to have his good company at our last ALLIANCE Reunion in Panama in February 2020.
“Fred has been a great man and a great oilman, dedicated to his family, passionate by his work, in love with his ‘blue company” since he joined, very supportive and a true believer in people, technology and ethical values”
Message received from Fred’s children, Marc & Vanessa, via Roberto Monti:
We are deeply saddened to inform you that our father, Fred Juon, passed away yesterday, Friday, February 12, 2021. Due to the pandemic, and with everyone’s safety in mind, we have decided not to have an in-person funeral.
However, as one of Fred’s many passions was documenting and gathering memories, we have created an online timeline where friends and family can post photos, videos and messages to celebrate his life.
You can use this link to share your favorite memories of Fred. If for some reason you cannot access or have difficulties uploading your photos, you can send them directly to my email juon74@yahoo.com and I will add them.
