Jean-Philippe Plomb (Baptiste) passed away peacefully on 22 March in Mèze in the south of France.
His daughter Joelle has advised that there will be a ceremony in Mèze on Saturday 25 March.
Jean-Philippe started his Schlumberger Wireline career in Iran in 1968, taking him through the Middle East, Asia and Latin America until he left after nearly 30 years in 1997.
Jean-Philippe was my manager in Sale, Victoria, Australia. It was a memorable time working alongside him.
