It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Francis Maubé, a devoted husband, son, brother, and uncle, whose love for the sea and spirit of adventure defined his life. He passed away suddenly at home in New Zealand.
A funeral service to celebrate and honour Francis will be held on March 24th at 10:30 AM at Newberrys Funeral Home located at corner of Kamo Road & Moody Ave in Whangarei, New Zealand.
Beloved husband to Marianne Burton, cherished son of Monique and Raymond Maubé, loving brother to Robert, and a proud uncle to Stéphanie, Coralie and André. Great Uncle to Karl, Prunelle and Faustine in France and Poppa (Grandad) to Mia and Lily.
Francis was passionate in all his adventures. As captain of Charisma, he found his greatest joy sailing and exploring the ocean. His adventurous soul and warm spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
All who knew Francis are invited to join us in celebrating his life and saying farewell to a courageous man who negotiated the waves of life like the ocean with great strength. His immense curiosity, inquisitiveness and exploration of the natural world led him to faith eternal – he knew his eternal destination had only just begun on Earth.
