Jacques joined Schlumberger Drilling & Measurement in 1982. working in the Amazon from Arequipa, Peru. He was with the company until 2018, rising to become Chief Technical Advisor for design of drilling systems in Houston.
This is indeed very sad news.
In the 1990s when I was Land Support Manager for Geco-Prakla, Jacques and I worked together on many high-level technical and product development meetings.
Jacques was a true gentleman and always a pleasure to work with, he will be greatly missed.
Jacques, may you rest in peace, you are not forgotten.
